Opera extensions have been downloaded over 1 million times in just 4 days after Opera 11 was released. Lets take a quick look at some more inspiring numbers and statistics. 20-30 new or updated extensions uploaded each day. Over 244 extensions now available!

Not bad for a browser that gets the "bum's rush" so often. Ad blockers seem to be the most popular.

have you found any extensions that were worth more than playing?

Nothing so far that I consider a "must have", but the whole area needs time to mature - which I'm sure it will.

The problem I see, is that all the good FireFox extensions are for program features Opera has built in (ad blocking, mounse gestures...etc). So alot of the fanfare that FF gets for extensions, just isn't needed in the Opera world.

The only one I have installed so far is "YouTube AdsFree". Brett's comment is right on the money as for why I don't have any others installed yet.
