I have a java script pop up window that in the opera browser I can't get the window to show the security lock. I have turned on location,toolbars,status but the window doesnt change. Has any one messed with opera windows ?

Some popup windows don't show the status bar by default. You can short cut key with Control-F8 to get it to display or go to the menu. You'll have to do that on each one though. That said, the next version is different and will show a new type of progress/status bar...
