Opera problems

For me, the slowerst browser on earth

I've been trying the free version of Opera, V 6.04, for about a month.

Each time I open the browser it's taking longer. Now it's up to about three minutes to load on a 1.8 Ghz P4, while the hard disk chatters away. Anyone know what causes this.

Also, I can't hard-copy print Opera e-mails and I can't follow hyperlinks in my e-mails, both of which are a big annoyance.

Any clues to solving these problems will be appreciated.
