Blog Site With Links to Buy

Hi all. I'm new to this so please be gentle :)

I want to develop a blog which is based around coaching sport. The idea is then there will be a pdf of each session blogged about that the user can click on and buy for a few pence. Is it feasible to use a generic blog account for this eg blogspot, or do I need to buy a domain, hosting etc ?

You can blog from one of the blogging sites, of course, but marketing from them is problematic. Domains and hosting is so cheap these days that is a more controllable (owned) way to proceed.

Agreed with tangor, hosting/domains are so cheap, some services offer a free domain with hosting, while some offer free hosting with the domain.

You can get a very basic server setup with modest disk space and bandwidth for $30US a year.

Thanks fellas. I will look at some of the cheaper domain hosting. I guess that is more flexible as well as I can develop the site if I want rather than stick to a blogs templates.
