/Not coming out the way I want it

On my HTML editor, the layout comes out the way I like it, but when I check the browser, it's completely different. Why is that?

What html editor are you using?

Most wysiwyg editors (what you see is what you get) will attempt to convert what you have created in design view to the end result. But they are not perfect. What are the main differences you are seeing?

Also, what browser are you using, and what kind of layout are you using (css, html tables, etc)?
