I am a novice so I hope I am posting this is the right place.

I have a website (developed in front page) and a miva merchant store front and am having difficulty in displaying my new Go Daddy ssl certificate. The site is hosted by Value Web and the ssl was purchased from Go Daddy. Neither party has been very helpfull in resolving my problem so I came across this website and hoped to get some guidance.

So far I pasted the snippet of the ssl certificate on my index page and it shows on my homepage. I thought by pasting the snippet on my home page it would show on all pages but it doesn't. I was told that I had to insert some script to have it display on all pages as well as the store front in miva merchant. I am a sole proprietor and when I mean sole I do everything myself. I know very little regarding web design or scripts.

Can anyone offer any assistance or point me in the right direction so that I might find out how to do this?

Thanks for any information that you can offer!

Welcome to WebmasterWorld kvcar.

An SSL certificate would be installed on your server. Normally your hosting company would install this for you.
