Hi,

Been doing the odd website here and there. Created from scratch using css.

My question is, after doing a site for someone and they ask me for a system so they can change stuff themselves ect, what is the best CMS to get them to use, and does it then need to be on a their server, like the CMS's one or can things just be done with it on the server I signed them up to.

Any help and experience appreciated.

Here's a thread from the Content Management forum that discusses various packages and why people like them....

Which CMS do you prefer? Why?

You might want to read through some of the posts in that forum and get a feeling for what CMSs are about and what's available.
