hi everyone,

I was wondering if you can recommend a software for a new website I would like to start:

I want a one page site that takes polls from visitors based on their unique IP address.

A very simple page that asks a question from visitors and asks for their vote: either Yes or No button and would show them the count.

Also, I was wondering if it would be ok to put up google ads on a one page website?

thanks in advance,
DP

Somewhere like HotScripts will have multiple instances of that kind of voting script... you'll probably find one with a few more bells and whistles there quite easily.

There are lots of polling scripts around as well as hosted service providers. Dynamic IP addresses will make IP based tracking problamatic. My mobile connection will certainly have a new IP every time I connect. On my home connection I can force it by simply switching the power off to the router for a couple of seconds.
