funny icon appearing on desktop

Hi,
I just had my itunes installed , new version , I"m on a mac and now I see constantlyh a little circle with sort of spokes around it when I turn on the mac, it has something to do with the volume of the computer

I want it to go away
I am using a new wireless logitech keyboard

can you please help/

I'm not following. Your title says there's an icon _on the desktop_. Your description says you see it _when you turn on your Mac_. Your description also says you see it _constantly_.

Which of these three things is it? And where exactly is it located?
