I want to translate all the content of my site into other language

Have anybody done like this?

Hello!

I just want to replace all the content I have on my site (it's in Russian) into the one in English.
And I can't really predict the effect.

The content will stay the same, just the language will change.

And I wonder wether my site have any chance to save it's PR?
(I don't care about positions in SEs)

The experiment might sound crazy, but have anybody tried it before? Is it worth doing?

there is no affect on your PR, but SEs could have major flactuations in respect of ranking. Google is every where in the world, but the site with different languages treated different while SERPs. Let say your current positioning in Google Russia for widget keyword is 10, but after a first crawl (chaninging it into English) it will be on 100 not sure but it could be. As site representing or hosting for a particular region could have better affect then to rank on English Search Engine.
