Hey folks,
I'm new to this forum and am hoping to get some help with some opensource applications I have located on the web. I am launching a local online community and was interested in the software mentioned above. The problem I'm having is getting a response from the folks who created it(namely the mobile map guys) and the fact that I have no clue how to get these things up and running or what to ask a developer and/or find a developer to do this for me. I'm feeling really vunerable and I don't want to be taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge in this area. I have looked at 2 community software applications similar to MySpace one is opensource(Dolphin 6.1) the other is put out by ABK-Soft called AbleSpace. Does anyone have any info or knowledge on these.
