I have been searching around and really cant find anything around on this.

I have a website with an article say on widgets etc.
I have my title, description and keywords.

I also have a blog and in that blog i have a plugin for technorati tags. Can I use this same method for my webpages. The tags read when you mouse over...
h.t.t.p://technorati.com/tag/keyword

What if I place these keywords at the bottom of my webpage linking back to the above URL. Will the page get picked up by technorati.

What are the pros and cons of this?

Technorati doesn't pick you up because you link to them - you need to 'ping' them. There's information here. [technorati.com]

It can work pretty well. It comes down to the long lived saying "content is king", With technorati it's real peopel who are reading your articles, you need people to like what they see.

Even with a pretty lame article you see a stream of traffic, if you put the time and effort on to creating good content Technorati can work well for you.
