A new preview version of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 will be available tomorrow, according to LiveSide, a site that follows Windows Live.

The site got its information from a Chinese technology blog, iFanr, which attended an IE10 media press event in Beijing today. iFanr cited comments from a Microsoft executive, who announced the imminent release of the preview version of the browser.

I have it installed for a few hours now and wow, it is fast. Seems much better than IE9.

Still early days (or hours in the case) but thumbs up to MS so far.

To describe how much faster it is, (for all sites I visit) it is like someone at my ISP has just doubled or tripled my bandwidth! Seriously, I am not exaggerating.

I am amazed.

If anyone wants to give it a try, there's a link on the IE download page.

Forget the above... my browser sniffer script caused the issue.

I have no problems with IE10.
