Reset/new password in Office 365?

I purchased a new mobile cellphone but cannot configure Microsoft Exchange on my Outlook. Unfortunately, my tech guy who has the password is suffering from Covid19 and has been on a ventilator for 15 days.

I managed to login to my Office 365 account but cannot see much in settings and wondered if anybody had any suggestions of getting this issue resolved, please?

I need to put in my password for Microsoft Exchange to activate the emails on my new mobile.

Is there any way of me resetting the password/getting a new one?

Thanks in advance.

Microsoft 365 Exchange has an option to set a specific non-expiry password for mobile devices. It is in the Office 365 Admin portal [portal.office.com]. As a regular user, you may not have access to that portion of Office 365. If that is the case, hopefully, your tech guy will soon recover, or they may have shared their credentials with others who can help you.

Thank you lammert. That's very helpful.

It looks like I don't have full admin access because neither your admin link nor the admin.microsoft.com one I've seen elsewhere work. They say I have no permission.

I'll try to ring Microsoft support.

I've just heard my tech guy has come off the ventilator and if Microsoft can't help then I'll just have to wait for him to be back in action before I can get access on mobile. It's not that important as I can access my emails on my PC.
