GitHub Mobile App for Android and iOS Now Available

GitHub has released an Android and iOS mobile app so that developers on-the-go can manage their projects. You can even view code, but cannot edit it in the app, which has been in beta in iOS since November, and Android since January.

As far as I can see all functionality this app has is also available through their website, which BTW works pretty well on mobile phones. For almost all app functions you need a live internet connection so I fail to see at the moment why installing this app would be more useful than just browsing to the site.
