According to a report on zdnet, Microsoft has an assistant bot in the works, similar to Google Assistant.

Bots are all the rage right now, and Microsoft has a bot directory [bots.botframework.com...]
Tay being Microsoft's wild child.

Called "Bing Concierge Bot," the coming productivity agent will be able to communicate over a variety of conversation platforms, including Skype, Messenger, SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram, according to a recent Microsoft job post seeking an engineer to join the team building the bot. Or, conversely, this would be one more feature I'd have to nuke with extreme prejudice.
