XP alpha transparency

how do I activate

I would lihe to make my toolbar partially transparent as it sometimes hinders me from seeing commands i need to enter

Hi jhoda and welcome to Webmaster World,

are you refering to the XP taskbar at the bottom of your desktop or a toolbar in Internet Explorer?

Right click on it, click on properties and check the box that says "autohide".

Is this what you are trying to do?

I wanted to make it semi-transparent so i could sse through it.I understood that XP had this function and they call it alpha transparency
