Any clue why since two months, almost every week, I got a new DELL BIOS update?
I verified, the previous one went OK and the new one bears a correct new date!

Extremely odd. Any message on the Dell site?

I see you weren't the only one, Henry.

Should I be happy for not being alone :)
The real odd thing is that since the update goes through, the new one shows the last update's day (Which is the correct one)
I could make the updates not showing up, but that's not a really good idea!
Well, wait and see... Thanks for sharing my burden.

Went through it again...
But now I know how to make it working for good :)
DELL's automated update offers to look at the package content, go for it, and find the BIOS update's download link.
Download and execute it, this time it works, flash BIOS etc...
