At Microsoft's developers conference this week the company announced the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update software development kit.

There was also a Windows 10 update I received on 2 devices on 20171010 that updated Creators elements.

I had this update fail three times on my home PC, until eventually it seems to have learnt and updated some other things leaving the creators update behind. The last significant update did the same but a few days later managed to install ok. This one hasn't tried again yet. Hopefully it will have learnt what was wrong the previous 3 times the next time it tries.
