Microsoft has released its first major update for Windows 10 and it says it's got additional features for consumers and enterprise users.

Microsoft Edge browser, Cortana, and improved boot up time are some of the improvements users will see, and IT managers will probably like the controls for staged deployment, and the Windows Store for Business for app distribution.

If you're running Windows 10 you'll automatically get the update, depending upon your update settings. Windows 7 or 8.1 users can still upgrade, and get this update as part of the upgrade process.

The windows 8 notebook of my daughter is infected with malware. I know the exact location of the malware files,
but I am not able to delete this files.

Windows explorer hides them, even with "Show hidden files"
Command prompt shows them with dir /AH, but I can not delete them.

That Windows trrusts some malware more then me, the user, let me think about,
maybe I have to migrate to Linux.

I think it is the same one I received days ago as an Insider Preview - which was:

Windows 10 Pro 1511, 10586

Anyway, this is part of the Microsoft email blurb I received about an hour or so ago:
Hello,
As you might have already heard, we just released a major Windows update to the world. This desktop update is packed with nearly 200 new capabilities, many of which were developed directly as a result of feedback from Insiders like you. Check out Terry Myerson's blog for more details – and thank you, as always, for your feedback.

On a related note, we recently unveiled a range of exciting new devices, all built to make the most of Windows 10. The Surface Pro 4, Surface Book and the Band 2 are available in stores now and we’ve begun rolling out an update bringing Windows 10 to Xbox One. Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will be available soon...

Terry Myerson's blog is the link in Engine's first post above.

I just checked, no more updates available, so I expect I got it in the earlier version up above.

No, I haven't seen one iota of difference, but I use Classic Shell - yes I had to resurrect IE 11 and deep six The Edge.
