That's quite surprising, considering the complexity of the OS, however, it must be down to sheer volumes of sales that make the difference. And then, of course, there's the up sell to additional software, and possibly paid support, etc. It should also help with uptake of the OS on tablets and low end products, which is where Android is scoring heavily.
