Hello, I'd like to run a windows webserver (main for asp.net applications) at home. So far the cheapest solution I have found is Windows 2003 server web edition (around $450). This is still a bit too much for me, does anyone have a suggestion? I know I could run it from XP but this limits the number of users that can look at web pages.
Is there an asp.net solution for unix based servers?
Thanks, Mark

Welcome to WebmasterWorld markman2.

I don't have experience with it but there is an open source project called Mono that supposedly lets you run .NET client and server applications on Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, Windows, and Unix.
