Though Microsoft still won't confirm that it will release a third service pack for its Windows XP operating system, a preview version of the software update has been made available on the Web.
The version currently floating about is a fake that can trash your OS, MS has said that SP3 will not come out until after they release Vista in late '06...

Speaking of Vista, installed it the other day and have to say how nice it looks, allthough first impression is that its pretty much a spiced up XP.
