While editing my website I received the good ole error message of: Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Error Signature APPNAME: iexplore.exe Modver 6.02800.1106 Appver 6.02800.1106 Offset 00012325 Modname=WININET.DLL.
This wonderful message wiped out my front page and I had to rebuild it again. This isn't the first time this has happened to me either. It takes me back to my desktop and sometimes shuts my system down. What I've found out is its to do with a "Lazy Update" of content on the web page I'm viewing. Also, it states the problem may occur if the web site uses the following custom HTTP header: cache-control; post-check=3600, pre-check=7200. It goes on and states, "If the site administrator removes this custom HTTP header, the problem does not occur. What Exactly Does This Mean?
