How do you change (add/delete) the shortcuts on the left side of the dialog box. I would like to add my G: drive and my PhotoshopandFriends folder but loose the my recent documents and my network places.

How do you do this. I'm guessing it is through regedit but don't know how to begin.

I'm not sure which dialog box you're referring to exactly, but if it was to do with the Open and the Save As dialog boxes in Office then this will help:

Well that is similar to the dialog box I'm refering too but I want to change them in all the dialog boxes. Both in office and in Adobe programs ect. So it would need to be changed on the OSlevel instead of the program level

Those dialogs are controlled by the programs though...the operating system does not standardize them. The Office tweak above is evidence of that. Changing the Adobe programs, for instance, would probably require a registry tweak. You would have to know where each program stores these settings to be able to alter them if it is at all possible.
