cannot open private Folder after reinstall windows

Hallo,
I wonder if anyone can help me. Ok let me explain, I have 3 Partition in HDD, C for system, D for Data, E for Multimedia. I've set one of the Folder in D to be my private-folder. And yesterday I've just reinstall windows, but now i can't open my private-Folder. I logged-in as Administrator.., I don't want to lose my Data.... :( anyone can helkp me, or i just forget about the Folder...

You can take ownership of the folder in the following manner:

right-click on the folder,

select "properties" from the drop down menu,

open the "security" tab on the dialog window,

at the bottom of that section is a button marked "advanced" click it,

go to the "owner" tab, ensure your new administrator account appears in the list of "change owner to..."

check the "replace owner on subcontainer and objects" after it replaces the security on all the files in the folder you should be able to go into that folder..
