I need a good recomendation for .net shopping cart

This is a hard one to search pevious forums because I don't understand. sorry if it has been explained in another post.

I have a programmer freind. He only knows or best knows .net technology. He basically writes anything out by hand as opposed to frontpage and dreamweaver. Not a webmaster, but a programmer even though he has built a few websites for others. He is in the middle of making a rather complex database for my sytem. The only part is that it is going to be huge and we need a way to check out like a from scratch shopping cart that is secure and allows multiple checkout capabilities that is very flexible. There are several fields and options and we need to janb them all in.
Any advise would be great!

you could either
a) build your own shopping cart... they're really not that hard

b) use ibuyspy's version (w ww.asp.net/IBS_Store/. very versitile, contains all the source code (but can be a little confusing), and is free
