ASP.NET - - - - - - - getting started

Hello all,

Well, im finally about to take the move from ASP to ASP.NET. I have been looking around on the web to find out exactly what i need to get started. Mainly on the www.asp.net site.

I have found a few things which i think i will download, but this one seems to have everything i will need: [asp.net...]

I just wondered if anyone had downloaded this and could confirm that it is what i need.

Any other advcie on getting started with ASP.NET i.e. good sites, books tutorials etc would be greatly appreciated.

You need the framework to develop and run .net sites. Step 2 on the page you have liked to will do fine.
