Problem with xml on live server

I added a service reference from a wsdl link into my project. When I run it locally it works completely fine. However, when I run it on my live server, I get a null object back instead of the xml object. Does anyone have any ideas about what I need to do to troubleshoot this. Do I need to enable something on my live server or something like that? Thanks,

Are you receiving any error messages before you get the null object back?

I have the feeling that for some reason on your production server it can' not access the web service referenced in the wsdl link.

Can you access that URL directly from your production server? if not then this is your problem.

Figured out this is an issue with the place that hosts the API. The same code worked fine 2 hours later. I have been working with this company all week and the SUCK. If you didn't have your rules, I would post a link to their site to show everyone who they are.
