How To Setup/Use IIS SMTP

I have an IP wireless webcam - it connects with my wireless access point.

It is an anonymous Chinese job - no names on it - but it is probably a Foscam F18918W.

Also I run IIS. 5.1 or maybe 5.2

The supporting software for this IPcam (called 'Ip Camera Control Centre' I finally managed to get working today.

It can be set so's it will email and alarm if it detects something.

I think it needs to use the SMTP on the server - i.e. on my IIS installation.

So I checked and, yes, I've got SMTP installed and enabled and my default SMTP is called 'Asus' - the name of my machine.

Now how do I configure this thing so's it can use my IIS SMTP and send these emails?

Most software that can send emails, will allow you to put in the smtp information.

Which consists of the smtp name/Ip, which would be your IIS computer name or ip.

From & To Address would be the address which the email address's which it is coming from and being sent too.

And some even allow a custom subject line/email title.
