Benefits of upgrading to Server 2008 and SQL 2008?

Currently running 2003 and 2005.

I operate a Classic ASP website with about 5M page views a month on a Server 2003 / SQL Server 2005 set up. I occasionally get odd error messages when managing the servers and sometimes the messages take me to pages on the MS web site which state that they recommend upgrading to Server 2008, but otherwise these servers are still performing well.

Are there any good reasons to upgrade?

For a classic ASP / vbscript site I would not, unless you are running other non asp sites as well on the server. You might have to do it eventually, but take a look how long they supported windows 2000. Windows 2003 and SQL Server 2005 are not going any place any time soon. Unless your site is hitting the ceiling in proformance or otherwise, I don't recomment upgrading solely for the os and sql server versions.

Thanks Ocean10000, this is what I'm hearing from other sources as well.
