How to email when no one logged in....

I need to send emails from a scheduled process that runs on a NT4 Server. I've written both desktop and web server programs that send emails via SMTP before, but they rely on the process running under an NT account with a valid Exchange account. In this case no one will be logged onto the server. Can I schedule the process to run under a particular ID so I can connect to Exchange? I confess to ignorance on how the handshake with Exchange works, so any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ross

Doesn't seem to be an answer to this. Must not be any exchange experts hanging around. However, if you schedule a task, it does ask you for a username and password to run the task under, so presumably it should work.
