Message Too Old, No Replies

Emails ending up in C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Badmail

Hi
I am trying to generate an email from an ASP page on Windows XP Pro, IIS 5.1 and my mail keep ending up in C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Badmail.

There are 3 files in there a .BDR, .BDP and .BAD file

The BDR file contains the following message

Unable to deliver this message because the follow error was encountered: "This message is a delivery status notification that cannot be delivered.".

The specific error code was 0xC00402C7.

The message sender was <>.

The message was intended for the following recipients.
*****@gmail.com
*****@example.com

Any help would be very much appreciated.

From my basic understanding, is that the destination servers rejected your emails for those address's. So it went to the bad folder. The destination server can have many reasons for rejecting your email, most of them are related to fighting spam mail. It would be a good idea to make sure your mail server is not on any mail block list.
