IIS POP3 keeps resetting the user passwords

why does it keep changing the users passwords?

From time to time all the POP3 user mailboxes get their password reset and users can't access their mail. I have to go in and manually reset each users password.

Why is this happening and how can I stop it?!

Did this just start happening or has this been happening from the beginning?

Sounds like you have a password expiration set somehow. Do you notice any regular patterns with this happening, or is it just kind of random. How often does this happen?

It has happened maybe three times in about 4 or 5 months. I did some restarting of the server and web services last week and I think the reset may have happened at that time. I restarted IIS, SMTP, HTTPS etc a few times. But it makes no sense to me why restarting any service would reset all user passwords.
