Creating and indexing a friendly name

How is it done?

I'm using IIS 5.1 and just the standard indexing service with windows.

There is a property id of "description" which I imagine can be mapped to the meta description tag, but unlike DocTitle, I can't seem to find a way to include that in the search criteria. I've poked around MSDN a little, but apparently I am missing something, because even when I added the [NAMES] section to the *.idg? file (can't remember since I'm not at that computer) the friendly name still is not being displayed and therefore unable to be indexed and queried.

I'm almost at that point of putting the description into the meta docauthor tag, since IIS does have a friendly name for that (DocAuthor) and pull my queries based on that.

Unless anyone can point something out to me.

Thanks, have a good one.
Jake

Smartest people on the web, and no one has needed this before or figured it out?
Heeh.
May have to add keywords to docauthor tag for indexing for now.
