If you're running Office 2003 with the Business Contact Manager and then load Visual Studio.Net 2005 you'll be unable to launch Outlook.

Something during the installation ganks the Business Contact Manager and it's unrecoverable to the point where you'll just be endless looping through the 'wanna notify microsoft' and 'start in debug mode' modals. None of that works.

I had to uninstall the Business Contact Manager in order for everything to play nice.

Is it a "bug" or a "feature"?

It's a bug. vs.net 2005 is essentially breaking other ms applications. In this case Outlook w/ Business Contact Manager.
