Are CDONTS and CDOSYS no longer supported?

I have a website that I constructed in 2004. It uses a CDONTS script on three pages for forms submissions. I never had a problem with it until a couple of weeks ago, when I noticed that I wasn't getting emails from the site. A test of the three forms pages confirmed a problem.

I also constructed a new site last month, and use a CDOSYS script on two pages for forms submissions. The site is on a VPS server, and the CDOSYS is supposedly supported.

Same problem, though. Initially everything worked fine, then a couple of weeks ago I did tests again, and it's hit-and-miss. Sometimes I get an email, sometimes not.

The owner of the hosting company is telling me that I need to go to something like aspmail. I'm telling him that everything has been working fine, and that some changes must have been made to the two servers that would cause these problems.

If anyone has any insights, I'd appreciate hearing them.
