Hey All,

Most of the electronic records my department maintains revolve around individual projects. We maintain a variety of information about each project, but the newest type we would like to centrally locate is email. However, I haven't been able to think of a relatively easy method (for the end user) to archive this email. Printing the emails to PDF and filing them has been my best thought so far, but that didn't meet with the best of reactions.

So my thought was, if I can somehow have them cc the server on all emails, and have it parse the email into a database. Unfortunatly, I haven't the faintest idea how I can capture the emails.

Does anyone have any ideas both to capture the emails or as a good way to easily archive email with a project?

Thanks,

Casey

I worked out some VBA to use outlook to do what I needed. If anybody is interested in the code let me know, and I'll share.
