How do I code a "break" in ASP?

is there a "\n" in javascript?

I'm writing a block of HTML code to the page using Response.Write() and it is fine.

I would like to format the output of the HTML so it looks like the rest of the HTML code, but I can't seem to find an equivalent code to the "\n" in Perl.

Is there such a thing?

I can post or mail the resultant code if anyone needs clarification.

Exactly that - but in javascript not VBScript.

Never used JS for ASP but I'm surprised that "\n" doesn't work. Could always use String.fromCharCode(13) but I'm sure there's an easier way...

I know that \n works n text areas.

\n and \r should both work in JavaScript.

\\n should work. You've got to escape the slash.

Yep it works. Funny how I couldn't find that in the Javascript manuals.
