Is anyone having problems with .asp sites and supplemental results in google?

I have been having horrible supplemental results on a site for over a year now and it seems to just get worse and worse. I think the problem is the .asp on my site... maybe my header.asp/footer.asp.

has anyone dealt with this and fixed the problem?

AFAIK, Google does care about your page extension, in a nutshell* all it cares about is the HTML that's outputted and your URL parameters. As long as your HTML is proper and your URL parameters are managable, you can move onto SEO and work from there (not worrying about ASP).

I just realized my post above said "does care"... I meant to say "doesn't care".
