please! help me .

How can i set up a index.htm to index.aspx

i know very well about html but know nothing about aspx,
I had a web site alredy , homepage is index.htm build by Dreamwave 2004 , i would like to change file : index.htm to index.aspx ( only one home page file) , How can i do , please tell me carefully , beacause i have not learn about ASPX ...How can i set up on my host ..ect...to make website run

Don't do it... and not because it's not good technology. .Net has a very steep learning hill and if your coming from html then it's more like a mountain.

You might want to at least get 1 or 2 asp.net books under your belt first and in the process build yourself some test pages or a site on your devepment machine first.

In DW, right click on the file and choose rename. Rename the file.

In IIS, go to the website, right click and go to ptoperties. And then in the documents tab, you can choose/enter whatever name you wish
