301 without access to IIS

I have a reseller account on Shared Windows host.

I'm moving my blog from Blogger to Wordpress. So far, it's all gone okay - the importation and all that. But I need to 301 the permalinks from Blogger to Wordpress, but of course, Blogger's files are .html.

I don't have access to IIS, since I'm on a shared host, so does anyone have any idea how I can 301 my .html posts to their WordPress equivalents?

Does your server have an ISAPI re-write option?

The only way that I know of that will allow you to do this is through an ISAPI filter (the Windows equivalent to mod_rewrite).

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks anyways guys.

Is it really that rare for a host to offer remote access to IIS?

Some hosts will install isapi_rewrite if you pay for the license. Try asking them.

I am surprised that don't offer the rewrite already.

Offering remote access to IIS, I doubt it - if they were security conscious, they would not

I've asked about ISAPI in my latest reponse, but I see no mention of it anywhere so I'm doubtful.

We're talking 30 HTML files that needs 301's to their ASP equivalent. I can't believe how difficult this has become.

I can understand not giving access to IIS, and so I requested for THEM to do it - 30 urls, honestly, what's that - 10 minutes tops? My first request went ignored, I've asked again. Fingers crossed.
