Hello,

it may be a silly question, but please consider that i don't know anything about microsoft servers.

i do have a website developed in xhtml 1.0 strict, using SSI .shtml and .txt, hosted on unix server and everything is fine and W3C validated, but when i place the same website on a microsoft server there are problems with html closing tags </a>.

as far as i know, if a website is working on unix it should work on microsoft as well, unless some applications are not properly configured.

please do you have any idea?

Thanks in advance,
tito

please excuse me while, but it doesn't make me sleep at night...
could it be something abt SSI? do you know any difference abt unix and microsoft SSI interpretation?
i'm using some .txt file to be included with SSI into .shtml pages, it works on unix but when the site is on microsoft server some html tag have bugs, maybe because of a SSI problem?
