Can't find the staff!

Employing and outsourcing in devloping countries

We setup an office in Bulgaria with the intention of having link builders, project managers and developers (primarily .NET).

We have finally got a good team on PM and link building but have an absolute nightmare getting programmers.

We are now considering having remote workers in whatever country we can get them. The one concern is language barrier and how to overcome that. We are thinking that the person(s) would have to be fluent English.

Has anybody got some good advice on how to manage/set this up and maybe resources on places to find good people for outsourcing/employing. And if by any chance in the world somebody knows where to get good people in Bulgaria I would be the happiest man in the world!

Nothing beats networking. It took me a long time to find a few good teams. A team manager is REALLY priceless.

Having said that I can shoot off a few emails to contacts in Sofia. Sticky me if you want.

Thanks for the answer, I do havea good team leader it is just finding some good .NET programmers to work with him! Any siggestions on that front would be greatly appreciated.

I think if I was Bulgarian, and you referred to my country as a developing nation, I'd refuse to work for you as well!

I'd also check in the Professional Webmasters Forum [webmasterworld.com]. These guys deal with this stuff often.
