i have a small form (3 fields) on an intranet site. tyring collect data from the fields and send it via email. I was told i would need to use CDO. the server that hosts the website does not have an asp license. was told i could use asp.net to do this. is that true? if so, how?

If your web server doesn't have an ASP licence, then it won't have an ASP.Net licence either.
There's no such thing as an ASP licence. If your server has a licenced copy of Windows Server installed on it then you're fine.
Is your server a Windows based server or a UNIX based server?

It is windows 2000 terminal.

If it's a licenenced copy of Windows and has IIS installed then proceed at will!
