I'd like to install the ASP.NET Web Matrix Project, mainly because it has a development server built in. Sort of like PWS. My question is, does it serve classic asp pages or will it only serve .NET pages?

Why not try it? It won't bite ;)

I did try it on my PC though I'm running IIS and the webmatrix webserver seems to be interegrated with it. So I couldn't tell you how it perfoms on a PC without IIS.

On another note if you do install webmatrix i'd recommend changing the default view (tools-->preferences-->web editing) to "source" rather than "design", as in design view web matrix will try and re-write all your HTML which can be a pain.
