I recently set up an apache server, but I've decided that I'll keep to windows instead.

I got some help for the apache on how to make subdomains. (http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum92/809.htm)

Could somebody help me to set up subdomains on a Windows 2003 Server, Standard Edition?

I'm pretty new at webservers, so take it easy with me :)

Thanks!

Okay, I haven't tried this on a Win 2003 server, so this may not quite match up.

You can create and configure websites using IIS, located in
Control panel->Administrative Tools->IIS (Internet Information Services)

Here you can right click on the server to create a new website. Simply fill out these details. On around the 2nd page it should ask you for a host header. Enter your subdomain.domain.com here. (you can later click advanced to add multiple subdomains/domains to the same website)

You can set up as many websites as you like. Hope this helps or at least get's you started.
