I was just getting directions at Google Maps and it gave me 3 route choices like my Lexus does.

Great to have this. They don't do it for all trips. I'm seeing just 2 choices thus far, and only when there's a freeway vs city streets choice... which is a choice that boils down to distance vs time.
Currently, "time in traffic" is listed for the freeway only. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually they get it down as fine as time of day, on streets as well as on the freeway.
