Verification by Phone

Can't get Google Maps phone verification to work

I am trying to claim some listings on Google maps for some clients, but whenever I press the link to verify by phone, it is giving me the error "We tried calling, but the call was not successful." I have tried this with several clients and none of them seem to be working.

These clients are in different states, so I know it isn't something with the phone company. I have tested the phone numbers and they are working.

Does anybody have any ideas what is going on? I did find one thing that said that the "Phone verification is not working" on Google's Known Issues, but I am not sure if that is that when people are getting the phone call it is not working or if others are having the same issue as I am.

Does anybody else have this problem and/or know of a solution?

Okay, after waiting a day, it all seems to be working now, so I guess it was just a bug on Googles end. Glad they got it working!
