The Google Maps API has been avaliable for enough time now that there are many cool/useful/quirky mashups.

At the risk pushing the limits of the WebmasterWorld TOS, I thought it would be interesting share interesting GMap mashups you have found or use.

Here are a few to start off:

GMAP Pedometer [gmap-pedometer.com] and WalkJogRun [walkjogrun.net] are for runners to help figure out routes in your area and get exact mileage. Very useful.

Chicago CTA Map [tastypopsicle.com] - of course because I'm partial to Chicago. With the integration into the Glocal data this is useful to find places near Chicago public transportation

See [digtootherside.cjb.net] where you would come out if you just started digging through the center of the earth.
